Since I got permission from both Skyy and Alee, I can formally announce I would like to have a forbidden romance plot with my newest character Juniperpaw.
Juniperpaw's father was a senior warrior who was alive during the days of Cedarstar, the leader before Loudstar. Cedarstar was fairly ruthless and did not care which clans or what cats were hurt in the name of ShadowClan, and so his father has a bunch of awful things to his name. Juniperpaw's mother spun his father's deeds into heroic tales which he completely buys into, despite the fact that Cedarstar was largely disliked within ShadowClan and his successors, Loudstar and Rosestar, have been received far more warmly. Juniperpaw was apprenticed to Marshfire (played by just atlanta. ) a senior warrior who was also alive during Cedarstar's reign and thinks Rosestar is as soft as a kittypet. Marshfire is instilling her hatred of Rosestar into Juniperpaw and he's slowly fading from the kind young kit he used to be into a cold and hardened cat.
I would like for him to meet a she-cat from another clan (preferably) OR a loner/rogue who can show him that his and Marshfire's opinion is very unpopular, that kindness is not weakness, and lead him to realize Marshfire has been manipulating him this entire time. This would take over the course of his apprenticeship into warriorhood, he's not going to trust any outsiders to begin with, and especially not their opinions on ShadowClan. Eventually, by the time he's Juniperfrost, it'd blossom into a romance.
In the end I do want the romance to be found out-- whether or not it is a broken up meeting or because of half-clan kits can be figured out at a later date-- because I want Juniperfrost to be at the mercy of the leader he grew up actively hating. It'd be nice character development. Although Rosestar won't be happy, she won't exile him, and it completes the circle of Juniper realizing he was a jerk all along.
I'm putting this call out there for currently existing characters, but I'm totally down for talking about WIP characters, or a character you'd like to create solely for the existence of this plot too.
